The Ladder beam and Dipoles Power
The all important generator and natural power source! The Shelter
It was a very dreary Saturday. We needed tarps on both sides of the shelter to shield us from the wind and rain. Frank & Company put most of the antennas up on Friday before the rains came. Operators
CW ops Paul and Bob
Phone op Mike, GOTA ops John and Victor Al Visitors
Visitors included youth operator Lucas and his Dad Extra
Victor's PSK31 setup; Logan and Robert relaxing We went with two transmitters: QSO's: 1117 cw x 2 =
2234 + 1511 phone = 3745 x 2 = 7490
Congratulations to Paul K3MZ, who breaks through as our top operator for the first time! Look at the Operators worksheet in the
Logs & Analysis spreadsheet for breakdowns by band, mode, operator, bonus point allocation, pie charts, QSO rates, and more
(operator rankings including bonus points differ slightly). The year-to-year comparison worksheet is updated. --- Results from December 2015 QST --- This was our fifth highest cw score ever; our eighth highest phone score ever; our eighth highest in overall QSO points. See the RARC Home Page and the year-to-year worksheet in the spreadsheet for comparisons.
We scored 20th out of 391 (95 percentile) in the 2A category. We had the highest score in the Atlantic Division (DEL, MDC, EPA, WPA, NNY, WNY, SNJ). (The overall 2A high score was 15,108 -- ours was 8,800)
