There are always deer around. Sometimes they munch on my shrubbery.
Squirrels are a nemesis to bird feeders; a not very "squirrel-proof" feeder as advertised above, so I had to design my own
One year a squirrel mother decided to bear her young in my attic. I had to coax them to walk down a branch I'd placed at the hatch, one–by–one, until the entire family was outside. In the above photo there is a baby squirrel contemplating exiting. Then I had the roof fascia and soffit repaired to prevent a repeat occurrence!
Chipmunks like to eat their breakfast on my patio. They leave a mess of shells, too!
The groundhogs don't show themselves too often
Rarely seen possums
Red foxes are always going somewhere, except the mother tending her cubs
Butterflies like the sweets put out for hummingbirds and orioles
The bat likes to nestle above the speakers underneath the patio roof (not all visitors are welcome!)
An interesting beetle
